  • Competed in both hockey and golf as an amateur and a professional.
  • Provincial champion and top scorer for the Charlottetown Abbies Hockey Team during the 1937-38 season.
  • AHL champion with the Hibbing Monarchs during the 1939-40 season .
  • Maritime Intermediate champion with the Charlottetown Legion hockey team in 1946.
  • Maritime Senior Hockey champion with the Moncton Hawks in 1947 and the Sydney Millionaires in 1948.
  • 8-Time member of the New Brunswick - Prince Edward Island Willington Cup golf team (1939, '49,'50,'54,'55,'58,'59,'62,)
  • Maritime Amateur champion in 1950, runner-up in 1951 and 1953, set a course record of 67 in Saint John in 1953.
  • Competed in the Canadian Amateur Championships on 10 occasions between 1939 and 1963.
  • Competed professionally in the CPGA a total of 29 times.
  • Seven-time Maritime PGA Champion between 1969 and 1976.
  • Won the Super Senior Division 3 times.
  • Inducted into the Prince Edward Island Sports Hall of Fame in 1981.
  • Inducted into the Moncton Wall of Fame in 1989.
  • Inducted into the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the Sydney Millionaires in 2000.
